Through the course, students will gain general knowledge about the LOTUS Green Building Certification. This includes scopes related to understanding the registration and certification assessment processes for varied project types. 

Additionally, students can deepen their understanding of items and criteria in green building assessment according to the LOTUS certification system — Energy, Water, Materials and Resources, Health & Comfort, Location & Environment, Management, and Performance Outstanding.

This is followed by an extensive tutorial on utilizing LOTUS  — in simulating energy, natural lighting, and computational tools. 

Students will also be given an opportunity to practice on typical projects, while exchanging and listening to real-life experiences when implementing the LOTUS certification consulting for different projects.
