ARCHICAD

ARCHICAD is BIM CAD software for architectural design that is developed by GRAPHISOFT (est. 1982) in Hungary.

ARCHICAD is a recognized tool that provides solutions to support the processing and simulation of all aesthetic and technical aspects in the process of designing an environment for architectural work.

It is the first-of-its-kind, commercial BIM for personal computers that is capable of generating both 2D and 3D geometry. This is considered ‘revolutionary’ for its ability to store large amounts of information in 3D models. ARCHICAD can also simulate buildings in the form of photos and videos, create visualizations, and model construction information.

From its early days of construction, ARCHICAD was developed as an OPENBIM to create the best working environment, cooperation among disciplines, as well as effective project information management. Combining synchronization with BIMx and BIMcloud software helps to optimize the working efficiency of users.
