International Seminar on Engineering, Technology and Architecture for Sustainable Development 2023 (ISETASD 2023)

On August 26, 2023, the Faculty of Engineering – Technology, Binh Duong Economics and Technology University (BETU) organized the International Seminar on Engineering, Technology and Architecture for Sustainable Development 2023 (ISETASD 2023). The main content of the seminar was to emphasize the importance of Engineering, Technology and Architecture in the global context towards Sustainable Development and Digitalisation.

At the seminar, MSc. Arch. Nguyen Trung Kien, vice president of IBPSA Vietnam, Director of VILANDCO gave the speech “Use energy simulation at the design stage to optimize high energy efficiency and investment costs”. In which, he presented an overview of energy efficiency, net zero emissions and green building, analyzed design methods to reduce emissions, ensure health and comfort through the application of energy simulation, analyzed the optimization of energy efficiency solutions and investment costs, as well as shared information about practical projects.

In addition, the seminar had a total of 09 reports including keynote speeches and reports with a variety of topics on renewable energy, smart vehicles, energy efficiency, etc. with the goal of creating chances for researchers, lecturers and students to exchange, learn and accumulate more professional knowledge from experienced experts in the field of Technology – Engineering and Architecture.
