In the series of activities towards Vietnam Green Building Week 2023, the event ” Greening Vietnam’s Factories 2023″ was recently held by the Vietnam Green Building Council (VGBC) in Hanoi on September 19th.
Attending the event were representatives of VGBC, representatives of the Science – Technology and Environment Department – Ministry of Construction, companies producing and supplying construction materials as well as investment units, consultants, researchers, and experts in the fields of construction, architecture and industry in Vietnam.
At the event, speakers shared a lot of professional knowledge and experience in the field of green industrial buildings and green factories, especially about green materials and construction techniques, with the goal of sharing knowledge and improving understanding of greening industrial projects in Vietnam.
MSc. Architect. Nguyen Trung Kien, director of VILANDCO, gave a speech about applying LOTUS certification to factory projects, how to apply each category in detail and analyzing experiences from industrial projects that have achieved LOTUS certification in Vietnam.
Such events promoting awareness of Green Building are significant and are the motivation for the actualization of the goal of Vietnam reaching Net zero by 2050.
