Recently, the AEON Mall Hue project simultaneously achieved 2 provisional certifications, including LOTUS NC v3 and EDGE v3, becoming the first commercial center project to receive EDGE certification in Vietnam. VILANDCO is honored to support the Investor and General Contractor as a consultant for both green certifications of this project.
AEON Mall Hue is located in An Van Duong New Urban Area, An Dong Ward, Hue City, Thua Thien Hue Province, Vietnam with a total floor area of about 139,171 m². The construction of the project starts in January 2023 and is expected to be completed in August 2024.
As one of the few commercial center to simultaneously achieve two types of green building certification LOTUS and EDGE, AEON Mall Hue has the following outstanding green features:
According to LOTUS, the project has 100% of the irrigation demand covered with reused treated wastewater, reducing the Overall Thermal Transfer Value (OTTV) by 57% and Lighting Power Density (LPD) by 50.6%, compared to the requirements of QCVN 09:2017/BXD.
According to EDGE, the project achieved an Energy saving rate of 35.11%, a Water saving rate of 30.18% and an Energy saving rate contained in Materials of 31%.
With the investor’s enthusiasm towards the goal of global sustainable development as well as protecting the health of users, along with the coordination of green consulting between Vilandco and other parties, the project has achieved very impressive numbers on green building goals.
It is expected that the project will be completed next year and is in preparation for the Final Certification Phase.
