On September 16, 2026, AgriS’s sugar and by-product manufacturing plant officially received the LEED v4.1 O+M: GOLD certification, recognizing its efforts in enhancing operational efficiency and implementing green building solutions in accordance with international standards.

The certification ceremony was attended online by Mr. Santanu Dutta Gupta – Associate Director, Market Development, GBCI; Mr. Tran Dinh Cuong – General Director of ProC; Ms. Nguyen Thi Thuy Tien – Standing Deputy General Director & Deputy General Director of Finance of ProC, Director of TTCS Factory; and representatives from VILANDCO – the green building consultancy supporting the project.

The TTCS Factory has become the first and only sugar manufacturing facility in Vietnam to achieve LEED Gold certification to date. This demonstrates the factory’s commitment to maintaining and improving operational performance—ranging from the more efficient use of energy, water, and resources to establishing operational practices aligned with sustainable development goals. This milestone will build trust and inspire other businesses to follow suit.

For an existing manufacturing plant operating for many years like TTCS, LEED v4.1 O+M evaluates not only the facility’s existing physical attributes but also focuses on operational performance, resource consumption, and management and maintenance practices.

As the green building consultant, VILANDCO hopes that this LEED Gold certification is not the final destination, but rather the starting point for a stronger journey toward sustainable development—serving as an inspiring model for more existing manufacturing plants in Vietnam to pursue similar standards.
