LEED is the most widely recognized green building rating system in the world

Chứng nhận LEED (Leadership in Energy & Environmental Design) certification is the U.S. green building standard issued by the U.S. Green Building Council (USGBC). It is considered the most widely adopted standard in the world today. Although not the first green building standard to appear, its commercialization and allowance for evaluating and certifying buildings outside the United States have enabled it to gain rapid acceptance and widespread use.

LEED is designed for all building types and phases

LEED is for all project types and phases, including new construction, core and shell, interior fit-outs, operations and maintenance, neighborhoods and cities.

LEED BD+C applies to new construction or major renovation projects.

LEED ID+C applies to commercial interior fit-out projects (such as offices, retail, etc.).

LEED O+M Applies to buildings in operation.

LEED ND Applies to neighborhood development and mixed-use projects.

LEED HOMES applies to single-family houses, multifamily residences, townhouses, and apartments.

LEED City applies to entire cities and surrounding communities.

The certification levels of LEED

LEED is a comprehensive rating system that covers energy, water, materials, waste, and indoor environmental quality. Projects must meet prerequisite requirements and accumulate points from various criteria to achieve LEED certification at one of four levels: Certified, Silver, Gold, or Platinum.
