AEON Mall Hue – A Symbol of Green Architecture in Central Vietnam

AEON Mall Hue, the first shopping center of the AEON Group in Central Vietnam, has been certified LOTUS Gold and EDGE for its sustainable design. Covering more than 100,000 m², the project aims to maximize energy efficiency, reduce carbon emissions, and enhance user comfort.

The mall integrates a wide range of green solutions:

• 34.1% reduction in total energy use; 57% reduction in OTTV and 54.9% reduction in LPD compared to QCVN 09:2017/BXD standards.
• Over 4% of total energy is generated from renewable sources.
• 44.2% reduction in domestic water consumption; 100% elimination of potable water use for landscape irrigation.
• 100% of non-load-bearing walls use non-baked materials; 72% of construction and demolition waste is diverted from landfills.
• The building ensures 100% fresh air supply to occupied areas, uses low-VOC paints and adhesives, and fully meets thermal comfort requirements for occupants.
