On September 7, 2026, the LEED v4 ID+C: GOLD Certification Award Ceremony took place with the attendance of representatives from the U.S. Green Building Council (USGBC), the Executive Board of Petrolimex Aviation Joint Stock Company, and representatives from green building consulting firm VILANDCO.
Spanning an area of 1,387 m² on the 7th floor of the Mipec Building (229 Tay Son Street), the project was implemented within an existing building framework and successfully achieved the LEED v4 ID+C: Gold certification for interior spaces.
What is particularly remarkable is not only reaching the Gold tier, but how targets regarding energy, water, transportation, indoor environmental quality, and occupant health were seamlessly integrated into every aspect of the office space.
Speaking virtually, Mr. Santanu Duttagupta, Associate Director of Market Development at GBCI, congratulated Petrolimex Aviation on becoming the first aviation fuel supplier in Southeast Asia to earn the LEED v4 ID+C certification for interior spaces. He also highly commended the company’s dedicated efforts in systematically embedding green building standards into its working environment and business operations.
Mr. Santanu Duttagupta expressed his expectation that Petrolimex Aviation will continue to maintain and build upon these achievements, driving green initiatives, utilizing resources efficiently, and championing a sustainable development mindset throughout its operations.
