AgriS Sugar and By-products Manufacturing Plant – Pioneering Green Industrial Standards
Located in Tây Ninh, AgriS Sugar and By-products Manufacturing Plant is one of Vietnam’s pioneering large-scale factories to achieve EDGE Advanced certification for an existing operational industrial facility, with a total area of 21,399 m². The project reflects AgriS’s strong commitment to sustainable industrial development and the transformation of existing factories toward international green standards.
By utilizing bagasse biomass for cogeneration and integrating rooftop solar power, the project achieved 100% energy savings under the EDGE assessment methodology. The reuse of existing structures also enabled 100% embodied carbon reduction in materials, while high-efficiency systems helped reduce water consumption by 39%. As a result, the factory cuts more than 3,292 tons of CO₂ emissions annually, setting a benchmark for green industrial operations in Vietnam.
