Landmark 81 – A High-Rise Icon Pursuing Sustainable Development in Vietnam
Landmark 81, the 81-story tower located in Vinhomes Central Park (Ho Chi Minh City), is not only the tallest building in Vietnam but also one of the few skyscrapers to pursue LEED NC 2009 certification from the design stage. With a total floor area exceeding 243,000 m², the project was designed by Atkins Global with structural consultancy by ARUP, aiming to establish a modern high-rise model aligned with international sustainability standards.
The building incorporates high-performance glazing to optimize natural daylight and maintain thermal comfort, along with a heat pump system that reduces overall energy consumption. These features highlight Landmark 81’s strong commitment to integrating green solutions into both design and operation, contributing to elevating the benchmark for sustainable high-rise buildings in Vietnam.
