In September 2026, Landmark 72 (Keangnam Hanoi Landmark Tower – Hanoi), owned by AON VINA, LTD, officially achieved LEED v4.1 O+M: Existing Buildings – PLATINUM certification, with notable results across several key areas.
Results Across Multiple Operational Strategies
To achieve the LEED Platinum level, a project must earn at least 80 points. LANDMARK 72 achieved strong results in Energy & Atmosphere, Indoor Environmental Quality, and Location & Transportation.
Notably, the project earned 30 out of 35 points in Energy & Atmosphere. As the highest-weighted category in the scorecard, this category focuses on energy efficiency and the operation of the building’s technical systems. This result was supported by meeting the Energy Performance requirements, together with strategies such as Enhanced Refrigerant Management and Grid Harmonization.
In the Indoor Environmental Quality category, LANDMARK 72 achieved a perfect score of 22 out of 22 points, including 20 points for Indoor Environmental Quality Performance. In addition to meeting the prerequisite requirements for indoor air quality and tobacco smoke control, the project also earned points for Green Cleaning and Integrated Pest Management, contributing to a high-quality indoor environment and well-controlled operational practices.
Another notable achievement was the perfect score in Location & Transportation, demonstrating that the project fully met the requirements under this category.
From Existing Conditions Assessment to Improved Building Performance
A key feature of LEED O+M: Existing Buildings is that the rating system not only considers the physical characteristics of a building but also focuses on its actual operational performance. Therefore, achieving certification requires close coordination among the owner, operations and management team, and consultant throughout the processes of data collection, performance assessment, and implementation of LEED requirements.
For LANDMARK 72, achieving LEED Platinum demonstrates its ongoing efforts to maintain and improve operational performance across multiple areas, from energy and water efficiency to resource management and indoor environmental quality.
