What is EDGE Advanced?

EDGE (Excellence in Design for Greater Efficiency) is an international green building rating system developed by the World Bank. The certification is divided into 3 levels: EDGE Certified – minimum savings of 20% for all three categories of energy, water and energy embodied in materials, EDGE Advanced – a higher level with on-site energy savings of 40% or more and EDGE Zero Carbon – a building that has achieved EDGE Advanced has a savings of 100% renewable energy or has purchased carbon offsets to reach the 100% goal.
