In response to activities towards Vietnam Green Building Week 2024, on October 2, 2024, the Faculty of Architecture & Planning, Faculty of Environmental Engineering – Hanoi University of Civil Engineering (HUCE) in collaboration with VILANDCO organized the Workshop “SIMULATING BUILDING PERFORMANCE TOWARDS NET ZERO” with the companionship of IES.

Format: Offline (1st floor – G3, Hanoi University of Civil Engineering) + Online (MS Teams)
The workshop had the participation of Dr. Architect. Nguyen Cao Lanh – Head of the Faculty of Architecture and Planning, Dr. Nguyen Thanh Trung – Deputy Head of the Faculty of Environmental Engineering, Dr. Do Thanh Cong – Lecturer of the Faculty of Architecture and Planning and Mr. Nguyen Trung Kien – Director of VILANDCO-VGBA, especially with the presence of speakers from IESVE. IES is currently known as one of the world’s leading software companies specializing in energy simulation widely used in the architecture and construction engineering industry.
Coming to the workshop, attendees will have the opportunity to listen to speakers share about building performance simulation towards solutions to balance energy efficiency and air quality, using numerical models to make decisions to reduce carbon in construction, .. In addition, the workshop also has a demo for some building performance simulation software such as IESVE, Cradle CFD, providing an intuitive view of the use and practice of simulation software.
The workshop is expected to bring a lot of useful knowledge as well as interesting experiences for professionals, teachers and students in the field of architecture – construction.
