On November 17th, VILANDCO company had a ceremony to give the official LEED Certified certification to AVC TECHNOLOGY VIETNAM at AVC factory – Dong Van III Industrial Zone, Ha Nam.

Achieving LEED Certified certification with a total of 43 points, the project has some typical green features as follows:
- Water Efficiency: Reduced Irrigation of 100%; Indoor Water Use Reduction of 53.27%
- Energy & Atmosphere: 20.5% total energy saving (ASHRAE 90.1-2010)
- Materials & Resources: The amount of Construction and Demolition Waste to be managed is 417,231.95 kilograms.
- Indoor Environmental Quality: Thermal comfort controls are provided for 100% of individual occupant spaces and in 100% of shared multi-occupant spaces.
The certificate ceremony was attended by Mr. CHENG CHING HSIANG, General Director of AVC and Mr. Nguyen Trung Kien, Director of VILANDCO and representatives of both parties. At the meeting, representatives of AVC Technology Vietnam and VILANDCO shared thoughts about the recently completed project, as well as plans for cooperation in the field of Green Building and Sustainable Development in the future.
At the end of the certification ceremony, VILANDCO representatives had time to visit the entire project to see the effectiveness of the green designs that have now been put into stable operation.
