On October 13-15, the 2023 National Young Architects Festival was successfully held at the Cultural and Sports Center of Nghia Lo town, Yen Bai province. The program takes place with a series of diverse events aimed at exchanging, connecting, and sharing experiences and knowledge in the architectural industry, attracting the participation of nearly 900 architects from 63 provinces and cities nationwide. In particular, the highlight is the Seminar “ARCHITECTURAL CREATIVITY – SPREAD AND INTEGRATION” with the participation of many experienced architect speakers.

At the seminar, MSc. Architect. Nguyen Trung Kien, Director of VILANDCO, gave a speech on the topic “Vietnam’s Green Architecture towards the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals”, which emphasized the role of Architects in the actualization of Sustainable Development Goals through architectural design solutions, as well as future architectural trends. In addition to some content about decarbonization in construction projects, the health and comfort of building users, or the impact of architecture on nature and circulation, he also shared a number of practical projects to illustrate energy balance designs, climate adaptation designs, Biophilic designs or smart features, thermal comfort of buildings, etc. towards the Net zero goal that Vietnam and also the world is pursuing.
